SPECIFIC RULES FOR ALL GEMINI TOURNAMENTS
(Check tournament page for type of each tournament)
Once game is over WINNERS report to TD in lobby
Non-winners REPORT LOSS on tournament page (NOT on main page)
7 Minute Boot rule for any player MIA
The 7 min boot rule is accumulative and once used you are out of tourney
Only in teams tournament can a sub be used if a player is MIA for 5 mins
No private messaging at tables during tourney or disqualification
No other games played during tournament or disqualification
Skunks do not count in tournament play
Please be courteous and respectful to other players at all times
The TD has final say in all matters relating to the tournament

SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT
Knockout tournament - lose one game and your are out
Games can be played to 121 or 61 pts on rated and protected tables
(Check tournament page for rules)
Refresh tournament page when TD announces they are closing in lobby
Lowest # (highest seed) on STANDINGS page invites opponent
DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT
This type of tournament has "top" and bottom"
You have to lose twice before you get knocked out
Refresh tournament page when TD announces they are closing in lobby
Top half in standings is usually 121 pts and bottom 61 pts

Lowest # (highest seed) on STANDINGS page invites opponent


SWISS TOURNAMENT
Play all rounds regardless if you win or lose ( No of rounds depends on No of players)
You may withdraw from tournament at any time after 1st round
Games can be played to 121 or 61 pts on rated and protected tables

Refresh tournament page when TD announces they are closing in lobby
LEFT side of pairings invites opponent
You can click on either PAIRINGS or REPORT LOSS PAGE

TRUE SWISS TOURNAMENT
As Swiss above except No of rounds are set before start of tournament regardless of No of players

LOWBALL TOURNAMENT
Lowball tournaments are all played to LOSE your games
Lowball can be played in all tournament types
Single Elim - Hi/Low Double Elim - Swiss - 2 v 2 Teams
Games can be played to 121 or 61 pts (Check tournament page for rules)
In a lowball tournament tables are all protected and UNRATED
2 V 2 TEAM TOURNAMENT
Each team consists of two players
One player makes team and gives team member Team Name and Password
If unable to get a partner you can use Auto on Tournament page
Tables for teams are set for 4 players
Games can be played to 121 or 61 pts (Check tournament page for rules)
One team member invites and one team member reports

3 V 3 TEAM TOURNAMENT
Each team consists of 3 players (Captain is nominated for each team)
One player makes team and gives other players team and password
Before start of tournament Captain creates a table and invites his/her team members (minimise table for duration of tourney)
When TD announces start of tournament the team on left side invites and Captain tells his/her team mates which players to invite from opposing team
Games are played at same time on separarate tables for each team member
At end of each game players go back to table and give Captain both scores for their game e.g. 124-109
Scores for all 3 games are added together and the team with most points overall for 3 games wins
One member of winning team reports scores to TD in lobby and one member of non-winning team reports loss on tourney page

2 V 2 TAG TEAMS
Swiss tournament but tables only set for 2 players
All 4 players play at same table
Team members switch and stand usually after each hand
Tables for this tournament are UNRATED

One member of winning team reports to TD in lobby
Member of non-winng team reports loss on TOURNAMENT PAGE

CHEATERS TOURNAMENT

This type of tournament is played the same as a regular team tournament
Difference with this tourney is that you can cheat
Team can talk with each other eg phone, messenger etc. during the game
People in same house can also team up together for this tournament

ACE UP YOUR SLEEVE TOURNAMENT
Can be played in all tournament types
Tables are set for either 121 or 61 pts on UNRATED tables
If you are dealt ACES you must keep them. Do not discard to crib
If you do discard aces the game is over and your opponent wins the match

DEALER'S DREAM TOURNAMENT
Games can be played either 121 or 61 pts
If you are the dealer you discard two cards to your crib
You then ask your opponent for card (A - K) typed in message bar
If opponent has that card(s) they must place it/them in your crib
If opponent does not have that card they place own card(s) in crib
If opponent has card(s) and does not place them in crib
The game is over and opponent wins

DROP 5'S TOURNAMENT
Can be played as any tournament type either 121 or 61 pts
Games are played on UNRATED tables
Discard any 5's to the crib. If you have three 5's discard two
If you do not discard 5's to crib game is over and your opponent wins
